It is an understatement to say that the joint work of these two authors is great work. It is simply fabulous. It has the power to simultaneously shock and delight the reader. Using light, readable prose they have created a story that abounds with hidden truths and secrets. A story filled with suspense and unbearable attraction that increases from page to page. Skillfully told through alternating POVs, the book offers us an insight into the thoughts of both the main characters, but still, a thread of mystery runs through the whole time that keeps us on the edge of our seats.
Not only the story, but the characters themselves are also well developed. Ella, a girl burdened by the weight of wealth and fame, finds herself in a hopeless situation and is looking for freedom in the wrong place. Zander, a true professional in his field, has to protect this gentle girl, but how can he protect her from the strength of the feelings that overwhelm him? One step forward, two steps back, a bit of confusion, a bit of darkness, and incredible chemistry bring these two characters together whose story continues in the next part.
Phenomenal reading… The characters, the plot, the conflict, the scenes that are filled with passion but also the suspense…. everything is dosed just right, not too little, not too much, just right to keep the attention until the very end. And to make the readers eagerly wait for the second part.
To be honest, I can’t wait to start the second part, which I hope offers refreshment and so many coveted answers that did not let me sleep while reading this part. Sufficiently dark and endlessly sensual, the world these authors have created offers an escape from everyday life. I am sure that all fans of this genre will enjoy traveling down the pages of this captivating story. Pages, filled with passion and emotions that captivate readers from the very beginning. Of course, if you are brave enough to be trapped in the sensual darkness.
