The way the author knits her stories, giving enough to attract you from the first page is absolutely fantastic. I think that by using only one narration, it gives us a complete insight into Eleanor’s thoughts and feelings, but it further increases the mystery around Becker and offers an opportunity to our imagination to create its own scenarios and try to understand what hides behind that mysterious man, who manages to annoy us, just to delight us in the next moment.
Insolent to unprecedented proportions, Jody managed to create a character who is excellent anti-hero, but with characteristics that point to a character who will manage to delight us in the next installment.
And the cliffhanger is absolutely unbearable, I can’t wait until I can get the final part of this duet into my hands.
Jodi Ellen Malpas never fails to deliver a spine-thrilling, steamy romance that will grab your attention from the beginning to finish.
If we add bits of intrigue, the heart-stopping moments and the hilarious push and pull exchanges, then we get a book that will most certainly delight every reader.
